RNAS Yeovilton will be hosting the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Taranto commemorations on 11 November 2015 which will culminate in an evening Mess Dinner in the Wardroom.
The Station would like to extend an invitation out primarily to any Swordfish aircrew, but also to Fleet Air Arm aircrew who flew during World War 2. RNAS Yeovilton would also be grateful if members could forward contact details and spread the word to personnel who they think may be eligible.
Often an assumption is made that we either hold a database of eligible persons or that details may have been forwarded by other means – this is often not the case.
Please forward details to Lieutenant Commander C S Grey Royal Navy, SO2 Command Plans and Programme Management, Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, Somerset, BA22 8H.
