Peter was a Y Scheme entrant who became involved with Flying Control at RNAS Twatt and later was Safety Equipment Officer at HMS Nabaron, Ponam, Admiralty Islands in the South Pacific in 1945. After the war he became a Chartered Engineer in the Oil Industry.
