As a former pilot of 882 Squadron, on H.M.S. Searcher, flying Wildcats, I wondered whether any other members of that Squadron, or ship, are still alive. I was flying in the Kilbotn raid on May 4, 1945, as well as the March 26, 1945 shoot-out. Lt. Com. Bird was our Squadron Commander. I would much appreciate hearing from anyone.
