The Association has learned of the death of S/Lt(A) John Guy Anthony Marriott RNVR on 7 May 2023 aged 87.

John did his National Service 1953 – 55, then was awarded Wings at No. 7 FTS Valley on 1 June 1955. He graduated from NAFS Lossiemouth 738 Squadron (No. 43 OFS Course) on 21 September 1955, then served with 1833 Squadron part of the Midland Air Division at Bramcote until it closed in 1957.
John was a member of the FAA Squadron taking on the roles of Treasurer and Membership Secretary during his time.
