The Association has learned of the death of Rear Admiral Michael Frank Simpson CB on 26 June 2018.

SIMPSON Rear Admiral Michael Frank Simpson CB. Beloved husband of Sandra and much-loved father of Nicky, Robert and Michael and grandfather to Douglas, Cameron, James, Matthew, Ben, Jack and Dan passed away on 26th June 2018, after a long and courageous battle. He is now resting in peace but will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The service is at 11.30am, at Christ Church, Esher, on Monday 23rd July, followed by a private burial at Randalls Park Cemetery. All enquiries to Lodge Brothers in Esher on 01372 463903.

When he left the RN in 1985 he joined Hunting Aviation and became Chairman of Hunting Aviation Engineering Division as well as being a Director and Council member of the Society of British Aerospace companies.
