Set at the Royal Norwegian Air Force Base in Bardufoss, 200 miles inside Norway’s Arctic Circle, cold weather training to prepare helicopter crews to operate in the Arctic in support of NATO has been delivered there by the Commando Helicopter Force for 57 years.The Force’s Commando Mobile Air Operations Team has been conducting load lifting training with members of Joint Helicopter Support Squadron; here working with a Merlin Mk4 from 845 Naval Air Squadron.
