Operation Urbane was one of a series of operations off the coast of Norway. This one involved air mine laying off Salhusstrommen and strikes to shipping. Attacks on shipping continued on 8 December.
Squadrons 846 Avenger, 856 Wildcat, 881 Wildcat, 1771 Firefly flew from Fleet carrier HMS Implacable and Escort carriers Premier and Trumpeter.
