The Association has learned of the death of Lt(A) John Myerscough DSC RNVR on 30 March 2021 aged 100.

March 1941 called to join RJAS Lee-on-Solent
June 1941 sent to USA for flying training
January 1942 received pilots wings and commission
April 1942 returned to the UK for further flying training with 762 Squadron St Merryn
June 1942 appointed to a front line fighter squadron, 893 NAS
December 1943 – March 1944 IFDF Flight, RAF Boscombe Down
August – November 1944 spent with 845 Squadron
January – November 1945 804 Squadron
Followed by a spell with 757 Squadron Fighter Pool at Puttalam, Ceylon
