The Association has learned of the death of Lt Keith Gates RN on 18 September 2018. He lived Aberdeenshire for the last 30 years.
Peter Frean remembers:
Keith flew the SAR Dragonfly at Culdrose and was also on Protector in the Antarctic before leaving the service in 1965. We then flew together at the Army Air Corps Centre Middle Wallop where we were instructors.
Keith also flew the Whirlwind of 825 NAS and with the SAR Flight at Lossiemouth.
