The Association has learned of the death of Lt Graham Staley Fawkner RN on 17 December 2016.

Graham was a pilot with the FAA between 1950 and 1958.

FAWKNER Graham Staley “Gus”
Died, peacefully, on December 17th 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
Gus joined the Navy as a midshipman in 1950. After flying training he joined H.M.S. Ocean with 810 squadron when he saw action in the Korean War. He was also involved in the Suez crisis onboard H.M.S.Albion with 809 squadron, as part of the Task Force in Operation Musketeer.
After eight years in the Fleet Air Arm Gus joined the then B.O.A.C serving twenty nine years in the civil airline industry.
Gus is survived by his second wife, Sue, five children and twelve grandchildren.
