The Association has learned of the death of Lt Cdr John Edward Chichester Rideal RN on 18 July 2022 aged 96.
From Records
John served from May 1939 to February 1960 taking his last flight in the RN in October 1959.
He qualified as a Pilot with No. 3 Course in 1946 and served on 810, 813, 827 and 771 Squadrons.
