The Association has learned of the death of Lt Cdr Peter Alexander Marks RN on 18 October 2018.
Peter passed away at Dorchester County Hospital on 18 October 2018 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. In accordance with his wishes there were no funeral or memorial services and he was cremated at Yeovil Crematorium on 2 November. He leaves behind his partner Ros Goulstone, mother Mary, sisters Jennifer and Pamela, and dog Bonzo.
Peter joined the Navy in 1961. He trained as a Sea Vixen pilot in 1967/68 but subsequently returned to General Service and qualified as a TAS specialist in 1971.
Peter always lived a full life. He had a car restoration business after leaving the Navy and raced classic cars. Other pursuits included sailing, windsurfing and mountain biking. He also regained his Private Pilots Licence.
