The Association has learned of the death of Lt Cdr John Christopher Laurijssen RN on 9 October 2013 after a short illness.

John was an ATCO serving from 1962 – 1992 at Lossiemouth, Brawdy, Portland, HMS Eagle, Yeovilton, Culdrose, MoD and FONAC HQ.
After retirement at age 50, he worked as Secretary to the Swordfish/Fly Navy Heritage Trust and the Fleet Air Arm Lottery Bid.
