The Association has learned of the death of Lt Cdr Derek Redman MBE RD* RNR in August 2023.

Derek Completed his National Service 1956 – 58 having been commissioned as a Midshipman Air. He was Cdr Air’s Assistant at RNAS Brawdy from 1957 – 58. He retired from the RNR in 1987.
Derek also served as a Flt Lt in the Photographic Interpretation branch where he was awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 1996.
