The Association has learned of the death of Lt Cdr Brian Holdsworth RN on 20 October 2014. He lived in Wiltshire and is survived by his widow, Pamela.

Whilst flying Gannet XL453 of 700G Squadron on 25 January 1960 the aircraft crashed into overshoot area after stalling on flapless take-off from Culdrose, came to rest at the junction of the Helston-Gweek-St Keverne Road, burnt out. Lt THET Kemp, Lt B Holdsworth & Lt F Morrane all escaped.
