The Association has learned of the death of Lt Cdr Alfred John ‘Manny’ Leng RN on 25 May 2017.
Rodney Price remembers him as serving on HMS Hermes and HMS Ark Royal flying Sea Vixens and Phantom F-4s and who later became a test pilot.

Whilst flying Sea Vixen XN707 of 893 Squadron on 22 September 1967, the radio lead released personal connector equipment when seat raise, pilot became anoxic, descended rapidly and recovered, inadvertent sonic boom in Stafford area. Lt A J Leng & Lt E I H Hughes.
