The Association has learned of the death of Lt Brian Henry Randall RN on 29 July 2022 leaving a widow, Eileen and son, Mark.

Brian served as a Pilot between 1950 – 1954 and with 802 NAS flying the Sea Fury 1952 – 54.

Whilst flying Hawker Sea Fury VX614 of 802 Squadron, Arbroath on 26 June 1953, the aircraft suffered hydraulic failure, landed with one leg unlocked, the starboard leg folded up, the aircraft ran off the runway, port wheel broke off and ended up on belly, Hal Far.
