The association has learned of the sudden death of David Foster. David was taken ill some 4 weeks ago whilst on a ski-ing holiday with his family. He was air-lifted back to St Thomas’s Hospital in London where he died on the morning of Saturday 14 April 2012.
David was a long term Member of the Fleet Air Arm Squadron. He had served in Sea Vixens (766, 890 Squadron) from1959 to 1961.
