Carol Sutton is researching her father’s service history and is looking for anybody who might have served with him to give her a more personal view. She was four years old when he was killed in a flying accident over Sidlesham on 19 May 1953. He served on a number of ships including HMS Fencer, HMS Queen, HMS Theseus and HMS Eagle and it is believed he was in command of the Service Trials Unit, Ford at the time of his death.
