The Association has learned of the death of Cdr Robert James Fidler MBE RN on 20 January 2018.

Robert was a Supply Officer who served with the Fleet Air Arm on the following occasions:

1950 HMS Fulmar
1953 – 54 HMS Daedalus
1954 – 57 HMS Eagle
1967 – 69 HMS Eagle
