The Association has learned of the death of Michael Henry Canning on 29 May 2019 aged 85. He leaves a widow, Anne.

Mike was an Aviation Cadet who trained with 57 Pilots’ Course between July 1955 – October 1956. While his FAA time was very brief, he never lost his love of flying and went on to own his own aircraft based at Leicester Aero Club.
