Enjoying lunch at Simpsons on the strand after attending the Service of the Order of the British Empire held at St Paul’s Cathedral in March. The event was attended by approximately 2500 BEM, MBE, OBE, CBE, DBE, KBE and GBE holders in the company of HM The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
Our 5 gallant aviators (only 3 of which remembered to wear the famous zigzag tie!) have clocked up a total of over 160 years RN service of which 147 years were whilst wearing Wings.
